Antique Pintail Drake Illinois River Duck Decoy Hollow Carved by Henry Holmes. Nice antique working hollow carved Pintail Drake by Henry Holmes from the 1st quarter of the 20th century. Dimensions: 15.25" inches long by 5.5" inches wide across back by 6.25 inches tall. Weight: 1 lbs 1 oz.

Condition: Good used condition with old mixed original paint, neck cracks and a piece missing from the neck (photographed). The body also has a crack where the weight was attached. The body line where the two pieces meet has also separated the paint and shows a line.

The paint has discolorations, rubs, scrap marks, and bare spots. The original weight is no longer with this decoy. There is a "4-9" painted on the bottom. I will be listing a few decoys from a consignor that was asking to much for the birds.
