This appears to be an early Herters decoy made from canvas/oil cloth and stuffed with straw. It was made to be on a stand, which ran through the body of the goose. The goose is in good condition, with a small tear in the canvas body. It is a large decoy, measuring about 26 long. It looks as if the word "Herters" is on the bottom.
