Please excuse any glare in the photos. This duck decoy was beautifully carved with textured feathers. It has a multicolored stain finish.
This large piece is approximately 20 3/4 inches long, 7 3/4 inches tall, and 6 1/4 inches wide. Unpacked, it weighs 3 pounds 12.8 ounces. There are green felt pads beneath. It would be a fine addition to a collection of duck decoys, or it would look great in a cabin decor. Identification This vintage duck is marked beneath, Tom Taber.
" Beneath, it has an inset gold tone medallion which says, "WOODENDARE CORONA MEDALLION 1984 SEASON TOM TABER. Condition The duck looks very good overall, with light wear but no chips, cracks, or broken pieces.There are some darker areas on the breast, but these are believed to be original (please see Photo 6).
